History
In 1983 Klaus Schülein founded REHART GdbR with one employee in an old forge in Ehingen. Here they started with the regeneration and hard plating of wear parts for the clay and ceramics industry in Southern Germany.
25 years later, the REHART GROUP is one of the leading companies worldwide in the field of "wear protection", as well as in "hydroelectric / water lifting installations" and "machine construction".
Continuous growth and international activity on the world market have been impetus enough to set us new challenges every day, to be more innovative and better-performing and, at the same time, to continually develop the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Foundation of REHART GdbR as a two-man business in Ehingen - the core business was the regeneration and hard plating of wear parts for the ceramics industry.

Purchase of Schnelldorfer Maschinenbau GmbH
1988
First exhibition at Ceramitec in Munich
1990
Foundation of TRIBOTEC GMBH in Thale (Sachsen Anhalt) with the aim of opening up new markets in the new Federal States and in Eastern Europe
1992
First welding contract for REHART GMBH in Egypt
1998
Introduction of the thermal measuring process to improve production sequences
1998
Coating with composite materials in cooperation with the American company Chesterton
1998
Construction of the first extruder for the brick and tile industry
2000
TRIBOTEC plates the chain of the chainsaw for the recovery of the sunken Russian atomic submarine "Kursk" in the Barents Sea.

REHART awarded the "JobStar" for the Nuremberg region.

Expansion of the group with the addition of PETERSEN MASCHINENBAU GMBH in Netphen

Construction of the first hydropower screw for the generation of power

Development and sale of wear protection materials, to meet specific customer requirements, primarily made of ceramic composite materials, under the trade name "nanoSeal"

Foundation of the subsidiary company DURUS in Romania

REHART awarded certification for composite materials in the food industry.
