Archimedean screw pumps

The Archimedean screw pump, which is based on the principle of the "Archimedean screw" has been used since its invention by Archimedes (around 300 B.C.), to convey and lift liquids and fluids. Water lifting screws are very efficient and guarantee a high level of cost-effectiveness. They are particularly suitable for transporting large volumes of liquids to specific heights. Examples of this technique can be found, among other places, in the Netherlands, where vast tracts of the country are irrigated by means of water lifting plants combined with windmills, thus invariably speaking in favour of this type of plant.

Our designers design their "REHART Archimedean screw pumps" with three-, four-, or five-gears, as required.
